Dr. Bradley Annas

A little background about myself. I graduated Valedictorian from Palmer College (Davenport) in 2019, where I worked as a Sport and Injury Rehabilitation Clinical Intern.

I graduated from Miami University in Oxford,Ohio in 2015 with a Clinical Psychology degree, a Business Minor, and played hockey. Being an athlete my entire life, I understand what it is like for pain and injury to slow you down or prevent you from doing what you love. I also understand the desire to find a way to get back to that pain free and active lifestyle in a low cost, non-invasive, time efficient manner. I’ve been there. Many times.

That’s why I started Nexus Spine & Sport. I want to give back to the community and be that problem solver needed for the people suffering.  I also want to be provider for the people that just want to stay well.

Ultimately, my goal is empower you as the patient to take control of your health and recovery, know your strengths and limitations, and become educated in ways to stay pain-free and perform better than you did before. It has been my passion to study the newest research on what it takes to stay healthy and active, and share this knowledge with you. This expertise and philosophy did not come easy.

On top of my Doctorate, I have accrued over 500 hours of post-doctorate training in sports medicine, manual therapy/instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, rehabilitation and corrective exercise, clinical nutrition, cupping and kinesiology taping, biomechanics, and concussion and vestibular treatment.  I am certified in Adult and Pediatric Emergency Response through the American Red Cross. I am currently waiting to sit for the CSCS board exam (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist).

I have studied evidence-based treatment protocols from organizations such as Motion Palpation Institute, NASM, FAKTR, FMS, Graston, RockTape, the McKenzie Method, Active Release Technique, DNS, and more.

I currently live in Shelby Twp. Outside of the office, I practice what I preach. I stay active. I spend a lot of time exercising, traveling, and playing sports.  I enjoy eating clean,  but won’t pass up a good burger and craft beer. I love spending time with family and friends every chance I can.  I live by the motto “be a learn it all, not a know it all” so I do spend a lot of time reading and studying, but also love the occasional Netflix binge.

We all deserve pain-free and active lifestyles! At the end of the day, our health and quality of life is all we have, so investing in ourselves is an investment I stand behind. Call or email me with any questions. Or book an appointment HERE today.  I’d love to help !
